Getting Started

This guide explains how to set up your Ethy agent, connect a wallet, and begin using automations.

1. Connect a Wallet

To use Ethy, you must connect a wallet. This is required to create an account via Privy. Ethy supports a wide range of wallet providers, including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, WalletConnect-compatible wallets, etc.). Embedded wallets are not currently supported.

After connecting, Privy will provision your session and link it to your smart wallet on Base.

We use Privy’s gasless transaction feature. You only sign once to create an automation. After that, your agent handles execution automatically, with no gas costs and no extra signatures required.

2. Deploy your agent

Once connected, you can deploy your personal agent. This agent uses an onchain smart wallet that executes the automations you define.

3. Add funds

Every new user starts with 1,000 free credits to try Ethy. After that, you’ll need to fund your agent’s wallet with $ETHY tokens. Each automation costs 100 $ETHY, which is permanently burned.

You can fund your agent’s wallet in three ways:

  1. Credit card — buy $ETHY directly using card payment (GPay supported).

  2. Transaction from your wallet — swap or transfer $ETHY in the app using your connected wallet.

  3. Simple transfer — send $ETHY directly to your agent’s wallet address like any other token transfer.

In addition to one-off funding, Ethy also supports subscriptions, staking, and tiered access for more flexibility. You can find the details on the Plans & Tiers page.

4. Create Automations

Automations are defined using natural language. Examples:

  • "Buy wstETH every Monday with $50 USDC if ETH is below $3,000"

  • "Sell 10% of my holdings if price drops 15% after 24 hours"

  • "Restake all vault rewards every Friday"

Each automation is translated into an on-chain rule executed by your agent.

5. Monitor and Manage

Once active, your agent can be managed through the platform dashboard. You can:

  • View active automations

  • Manually trigger your automations

  • Review execution logs

  • Pause, resume, or delete rules

  • Monitor token balances and yield

All automations are non-custodial and executed through your agent's smart wallet.
